Super Green+
Dietary Supplement
For antioxidant power
•
Super Green+ is a powdered drink mix that provides you with powerful antioxidants to support healthy inflammation levels and reduce the impact of reactive oxygen species. Super Green+ provides you with sodium copper chlorophyllin, a water-soluble form of chlorophyll that can help to detox the body. It also contains spirulina, a cyanobacterium that further enhances the antioxidant properties of Super Green+
Chlorophyll is a molecule found in green plants that is an important part of plant growth and development, through the process of photosynthesis. This molecule has also been found to play a role in human health. Research suggests that chlorophyll is a potent antioxidant that is highly bioavailable to humans, making it an optimal choice for dietary supplementation.
Spirulina is a unique cyanobacteria that, in large quantities, aggregates to form algae in lakes and ponds. Spirulina is naturally high in the plant compound phycocyanin, which is what gives this algae a blue-green hue. Phycocyanin is a known antioxidant and can enhance the properties of chlorophyll. These two compounds work in conjunction to support antioxidant activity throughout the body. They also provide important micronutrients to support overall health.
When paired together, chlorophyll and spirulina work to scavenge free radicals throughout the body and protect against oxidative damage. This helps to bring down system-wide inflammation and can contribute to optimal functioning of the digestive system, immune system, and overall health. Some research also suggests that these compounds can function as detoxing agents to cleanse the digestive tract.
Mix one scoop (1.5g) in 8 oz. of water or beverage of your choice.
Super Green + is generally well tolerated. As with any dietary supplement, some gastrointestinal discomfort may be experienced.
